I'm going to get my hands on Walkthrough, but since there are many, MANY ways to do one thing, how shall we proceed? Point by point sounds plausible I think, instead of writing everything you do, generalizing what you can do, and where it can lead you sounds plausible. But there's also another problem, one action can influence other future actions, shall we even bother with a walkthrough? Check below for an example walkthough piece & future affections.

Example: You need to get rid of Shaheed's elite. You can take him down with a stealthy approach, which is also a bonus objective in the mission. After you deal with him, a Stryker with a couple of hostiles will start attacking you. Your objective is destroy the Stryker. Stealth approach is not advised to get rid of hostiles, since Stryker is locked on you, and trying to take them down in hand-to-hand combat may result in your death. There are missile launchers which you can pick up, and it takes at least 3 missiles to take Stryker down. After dealing with Stryker, a conversation will take place with Shaheed, and you decide what to do with him. You can arrest him, execute him, or let him go. Depending on your action, you'll get a bonus Perk (link to a page, where all of those 3 perks are listed). Then Mina will contact you and bring some unpleasant news. Mumbo Jumbo... etc

Now, here's the problem. If you let Shaheed go, you'll meet with him again, and (possibly) get another perk. Also, if Shaheed likes you (I'm not sure this is a factor or not, maybe just letting him go is enough, or maybe you even need to let Nasri go aswell), on Moscow, you can "convince" Surkov easily. He mentions about your past actions, that you're a man of your word and agrees to help you.

Now I think you understand my dilemma. It's not a basic save-load thing, as some early events may affect what can happen in the future events. What do you think? Goekhan 20:23, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

I set up a sample mission page at Bug Al-Samad Airfield. Ausir(talk) 21:49, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
Best way is listing Objectives, Choices (Objectives and important talks) and the impacts they make. e.g. In the Airfield topic, adding the effect of killing the guards, which is listed after the mission. Zr0iq 23:10, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what the choices and consequences section is for. Ausir(talk) 23:21, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
I thought of having a separate section for each choice made. Might take a while though. As long as they are detailed I guess. I was thinking of cleaning up the Graybox area too. wrxracer1983 15:25, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Changed the Contact Albatross Link that takes place in Moscow. Check your links, someone had made both Contact Albatross Missions into the same one, which was the ending Mission. Can end up posting spoiler links if someone just want a helping hand but you link them to endgame missions. Cheers --Kazehito 00:58, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Mission order[]

I wonder if there's an optimal order in which to do the missions. Eg: do both Bug Al-Samad Airfield and Find Nasri the Arms Dealer before Investigate Jizan Weapon Stockpile. For another example, the mission selection screen makes it appear that you can go to one hub and do a mission, then go to a different hub and do a mission there. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't be sure it actually works like this. I see this being particularly useful on Hard mode if you want to get as many advantages as possible. I never noticed until now, but apparently someone else had a similar idea: Beneficial Mission Order. It's only a rough sketch right now. Sheltim 18:14, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
