A variety of full-bodied suits of armor are available for purchase by Alpha Protocol Agent Michael Thorton. These suits are all military grade, designed for specific purposes and benefits additional to protection. Like weapons, each suit has its own strengths and weaknesses.
Suits[]
Ultimately, there are 3 types of armor: Combat, Stealth, and Utility. Each type of armor has 3 different tiers available, with increasing stats at increasing prices: Basic, Tactical, and Advanced. Each armor has a unique appearance and differing stats. Combat armors grant the most endurance, while being the noisiest of armors and hampering any attempts at stealth without modifications. Stealth armor focuses on sound dampening, being the most suitable for stealth while offering the least amount of endurance of armor types without modifications. Utility armors focus on gadget capacity and upgrade slots while offering a medium amount of endurance. The Basic armor tier is unnamed, instead giving each armor type a unique name. It has the most basic appearance, stats and the lowest price. The Tactical armor tier is named such, with a more armored appearance, improved stats, and the medium price. The Advanced armor tier has the most elaborate and armored appearance, the best unmodified stats, and the highest price.
